Privacy Policy for D-Day Audio Guide

Last updated: April 2026

This privacy policy applies to the mobile application D-Day Audio Guide, developed and published by Andrew Sutherland.

Andrew Sutherland is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how D-Day Audio Guide collects, uses, and safeguards information when the application is used.

Overview

D-Day Audio Guide is a self-guided tour companion. D-Day Audio Guide does not collect personal data from users.

Location Data

Location is used only on-device during an active, user-initiated tour to detect proximity to predefined tour points and automatically trigger on-site content such as narration or information.

During an active tour, location may be accessed in the background so that tour stops can trigger even if the screen is off or another app is open.

Location tracking runs only while a tour is active and stops immediately when the tour ends. Location data is not collected by D-Day Audio Guide, not stored on D-Day Audio Guide servers, not sold, and not used for advertising or analytics.

Payments

All payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. D-Day Audio Guide does not store or process payment information.

Notifications
